Kohl Rabi with Brown Sugar and Ginger
700g Kohl Rabi
25g Butter
2 tbs Brown Sugar
Half tsp Ground Ginger
Salt and fresh Black Pepper to taste

1. Boil Kohl Rabi in salted water bring to boil reduce heat and simmer until tender. About 10-15 mins drain.
2. Melt Butter add Brown Sugar, Ginger, Salt and Pepper pour over the Kohl Rabi, mix well and serve.
This reminds me of how we used to prepare sweet potatos in my native Pennsylvania: lots of brown sugar and butter, which, upon reflection is odd, given it is a 'sweet' potato. I've one or two kholrabi left which I picked up from the CSA gift box. Looking forward to trying this recipe out!
