Scarecrow Afternoon

Help Us Build A Scarecrow For The Garden!
Saturday 19th April 2 - 4pm
Every garden should have its' own scarecrow, and we decided it was about time we built ours! Lets hope it puts that pesky Moriaty in his place!
There will be several activities around the scarecrow theme - including stories and songs for the children, building the crowman himself, and if we're very lucky, some scarecrow biscuits!
If you have any donations of old clothes, hats, stuffing materials or anything else you think he should be wearing, please bring them along.
Meet on the garden at 2pm - hope to see you there!
Event organised by "Librarian Environmental Activities"
What a great idea the scarecrow event was! The kids all seemed to be enjoying it, I know Lili did! How wonderful it is to taste the salad crop knowing it had just been picked too. I`ve even eaten radish for the first time in my life, strange what you`ll do with a bit of incentive eh?
